Administrative Assistant / Bookkeeper
San Carlos (hiring now)

bulletYou will provide assistance for a small engineering group as well as general office and bookkeeping tasks.
bulletYou will be responsible for Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Project tracking, preparation of design deliverables, procurement of materials and services, assembly of documentation packages, general office and  correspondence tasks.
bulletPreparation of payroll, financial statements, and tax returns are NOT required for this position.
bulletWe deal with government agencies, contractors, and high tech companies.
bulletIdeally, you are:
    Skilled with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, Project and MS-SQL, QuickBooks Pro
    Experience with Primavera and Sure Track a plus
    Proficient with bookkeeping and accounting practices
    Good verbal and written communication skills
    Self starter, detail oriented, able to transform chaos into blissful order with a smile on your face
    Available 20-40 hours / week, flexible scheduling

Programmer / Engineer
(hire or contractor)

bulletYou will provide conceptualization, design, implementation, testing and training for specialized control projects. Qualified candidates will posses prior control project experience, effective written and oral communication skills, organization skills, and effectively function on a team.
bulletYou will be responsible for project design, preparation of design deliverables, procurement of materials and services, implementation, testing, final documentation, and training.
bulletWe desire meticulous achievement of stated goals, safety, quality, and most of all, a high level of customer satisfaction.
bulletIdeally, you will:
    develop PLC applications, conversant with Allen Bradley, Modicon, Control Microsystems, and GE-Fanuc
    develop graphical user interface applications using Wonderware, FIX, Dynamics, Factory Link, and Lookout
    develop plant floor and RTU operator interface terminals and touch screens
    configure application databases and report formats
    develop operator and system maintenance training materials,
    perform operator and system training,
    maintain a configuration management database and change control
    develop application and system test procedures,
    perform system testing, startup, and commissioning,
    perform continual upgrades and maintenance.
bulletYou will work on project teams to provide system integration in the following applications:
    Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Systems
    Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
    Toxic Gas Detection Systems (TGO)
    Power, Hydro, Water, and Wastewater Systems
    Web-based control
    Database applications
    LAN and WAN systems
    Communications systems including wired, wireless, fiber, microwave, and satellite
bulletThe ideal candidate will have over 5 years hands-on experience with real-time control system integration. This environment involves multiple operating systems (Windows 2000. NT, XP, Unix,VMS, Linux),TCP/IP networking, and integration with third party applications (e.g. Oracle, Sybase, MS-SQLserver, Crystal Reports, etc.).
In depth experience with FIX32, FIX Dynamics, IFix, Wonderware, Industrial Application Server,  InSQL, Suite Voyager, and Terminal Services, MS-SQL server, network security, firewalls and VPN highly desirable.

    Systems Configuration and Integration (Windows NT, 2000, XP, 2003 UNIX, LINUX, and VMS.

    System and Network Management for TCP/IP and Microsoft LAN and WAN technologies.
    System Training and Startup Support.
    Factory and Field Testing and Maintenance.
    Systems integration and testing
    Familiarity with field instrumentation and analytical instruments
    Integrity and character
bulletA four year technical degree and at least 5 years experience with distributed control systems, SCADA, or PLC configuration, programming, documentation, and training are desired.
Proven  experience has more weight than a degree. Registration as a P.E., and/or previous control system or SCADA field start-up experience is a plus.
